New England Division

Forward: Michael Belleau, Twin City Thunder

Belleau (‘03/Lewiston, Maine) is a local product who’s done very well for the Thunder. Most recently he put up a 1-4-5 line against the New Hampshire Jr. Monarch, the first five-point game for a Thunder player since 2020-21. He has 24 points in 30 games this year, after previously playing in Maine at North Yarmouth Academy and Lewiston High School. 

 

Defense: Seth Orozco, Northern Cyclones 

Orozco (‘02/Sylvania, Ohio), who was a recent commit to the NCAA’s Lake Forest College, had a very strong showing in helping the Cyclones clinch a second straight New England Division championship. He put up two assists in four games, was a +1, with three blocks and two hits as the Cyclones went 3-1 at the South Shore Kings Presidents Day Showcase. 

 

Goaltender: Jeffrey Fillion, Northern Cyclones

Fillion (‘04/Chicoutimi, Que.) posted a 1-1 record with a .956 save percentage off 65 saves on 68 shots in two games at the SSK Presidents Day Showcase. Part of this was a massive 37-save shutout of the Mid-Atlantic Division’s second place team the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights. Overall, Fillion stands at 18-4-0-0 with a 2.05 goals against average and .928 save percentage. This weekend saw his first shutout of the season. 

 

Mid-Atlantic Division

Forward: Maxim Zarkhin, Rockets Hockey Club

Zarkhin (‘03/Staten Island, N.Y.) posted five goals in his last four contests with the Rockets Hockey Club, including a hattrick against the New Hampshire Junior Monarchs on Sunday. The center recorded eight points (five goals and three assists) in the South Shore Kings Showcase in Foxboro, Mass. Zarkhin has 26 points through 29 games this season and is currently on a seven-game point streak.

 

Defense: Henry Rust, Rockets Hockey Club

Rust (‘03/Victoria, BC) has played well throughout the month of February and had an impressive showing in Foxboro over the weekend. He recorded five assists in four games at the President’s Day Showcase. Rust posted four assists on Sunday, having a pair of assists against the New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs and the Bridgewater Jr Bandits. The blueliner has nine points in February.

 

Goaltender: Luke Remenyi, WBS Knights

Remenyi (‘04/Deerfield Beach, Fla.) continued to dominate in net for the Knights at the South Shore Kings Showcase, leaving Foxboro with a 2-0 record on the weekend. The second-year goalie posted 56 saves on 58 shots over the weekend, finishing with a .966 save percentage. Remenyi currently posts a 1.79 goals against average on the season, ranking fourth among all Premier goaltenders.
