The USPHL Wisconsin Showcase is among the newest events on the USPHL calendar for 2024-25, as this event amidst the hockey-rich Wisconsin-Minnesota region is sure to draw scouts from a NCAA-rich environment including 19 schools in both the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) and Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC), as well as several ACHA colleges in the area.
The USPHL is bringing together 10 teams for the week to battle it out in front of scouts from as many as 25 NCAA schools in Wisconsin and bordering states. There will be seven teams from the North Division and three teams joining from the Great Lakes Division. This all-USPHL Premier event features teams from a league that advanced nearly 300 players to NCAA, ACHA and AAU schools during the 2023-24 season.
Additionally, there have been 58 players selected in the NHL Entry Draft from the USPHL, including 18 from the NCDC and 10 all-time from the USPHL Premier. The Premier has had two alumni draft selections since 2019, while no other league of its type has had any in the last five years.
