Montreal Black Vees 4, Universel Sherbrooke
The Black Vees have taken a 1-0 lead in their Canada Division Championship series against Universel Sherbrooke, winning 4-2 on Wednesday in the only playoff game of the day. Elliot Fortin and Zachary Collin each had a goal and an assist, Benjamin Lavallee had two assists, Charles-Emile Clermont scored the GWG and in net, Nathan Rutter-Richardson made 23 saves on 25 shots. For Sherbrooke, Simon Thibault was impressive with 41 saves on 45 shots. Game 2 is Friday at 1 p.m.
