Forward: Collin Patterson, Florida Eels
Patterson (‘02/Melbourne, Fla.) is a third-year Eel who had a fantastic run at the USPHL Southeast Showcase, scoring a goal in each of the four games and also registering an assist. He improved to nine points in seven games, with seven total goals scored so far.
Defense: Jackson Studebaker, Tampa Bay Juniors
Studebaker (‘03/Mound, Minn.) was fantastic for the Juniors during their run at the USPHL Southeast Showcase. Along with one assist, he also registered 34 takeaways and was a +4, tied for second in that category. He also led in ice time per game (20:16), total shorthanded time (10:28) and was tied for second in blocked shots with five.
Goaltender: Sal Carabelli, Florida Jr. Blades
Carabelli (‘02/Shelby Township, Mich.) is another third-year USPHL Premier veteran experiencing fantastic success as a veteran leader. He is 4-0, including two wins at the showcase. One was a 23-save shutout against Hampton Roads in the Blades’ opener, the other game showing 23 saves on 26 shots in a win against an improved Potomac Patriots squad.
Southeast Division
Forward: Shane Adler, Charlotte Rush
Adler (‘02/Dallas, Texas) had a strong showing in helping the Charlotte Rush to a 4-0 stand at the USPHL Southeast Showcase, scoring three goals and five assists. In two USPHL Premier seasons, he’s averaging 1.06 points per game.
Defense: Jeremy Dewar, Hampton Roads Whalers
Dewar (‘02’/Richmond, B.C.) posted two goals and three assists on the offensive side, while defensively he led the team with a +9 rating and five blocked shots in the four-game Southeast Showcase, which his team hosted.
Goaltender: Jack Nowicki, Hampton Roads Whalers
Nowicki put up a 2-0 record and a .945 save percentage (51 saves on 54 shots) and currently stands at 3-1 on the season. Nowicki (‘03/Evanston, Wy.) is in his second USPHL Premier season.
