Week Of Sept. 23

Great Lakes Division

Forward: Hunter Gentz, Columbus Mavericks

Defense: Dominik McNamara, Toledo Cherokee

McNamara (‘02/ Gibraltar, Mich.), has showed that he is an experienced defenseman in the first game of play and his third season with the Cherokee. He scored a goal and had two assists in the Cherokee’s opening game against the Cincinnati Jr. Cyclones.

Goaltender: Frank Murphy, Toledo Cherokee

As a new face to the Cherokee roster, Murphy (‘04/Toronto, Ont.), had an impressive first game in net. It’s his second season in the Premier league but his first with Toledo. He stopped 20 of the 21 shots he was faced which helped the Cherokee with their win over the Jr. Cyclones.
