USPHL Premier Players Of The Month – December 2022: Great Lakes Division

Jason Crossland, Toledo Cherokee

Crossland (’02/Dearborn, Mich.) continued his offensive dominance this past December. The Cherokee right winger had 12 goals and 10 assists for 22 points in the eight games he played tallying up 2.75 points per game. He is currently second in the division in points, goals, and assists, behind teammate Niklas Millhorn. Crossland has been an excellent addition to Toledo, averaging 2.22 points a game this season and having just about doubled his assists from last year.


Cameron Reel, Toledo Cherokee

Another great addition to the Cherokee is center Cameron Reel (’03/Owensboro, Ky.). In the eight games in played in this past December he has accrued 18 points off nine  goals and nine assists, averaging 2.25 points a game. In the last month Reel has been able to double his goals, helping add to the success that Toledo has had in the past month. 


Jake Lamm, Cincinnati Cyclones

Lamm (’02/Ludington, Mich.) had a great set of games in December. Having played in seven games, he earned four goals and six assists for 10 points. He was able to not only double his goals for the season, but also triple his assists. The veteran player for the Cyclones is currently leading the team in points (17) and goals (eight) and is in second in assists (nine).



Dakota Kott, Metro Jets

The second-year defenseman Kott (’02/Hartland, Mich.) had a goal and eight assists for nine points in the seven games he played in December with the Jets. He is currently ranked second on the team in assists with 21 so far this season. In the seven games he played this past month he tallied 1.28 points per game.


Ryan Stanley; Toledo Cherokee

Stanley (’02/Trenton, Mich.) is currently leading his team in assists and 17th in the league with 30 so far this season. In the month of December alone, Stanley was able to show off not only his defensive skills but also his offensive. In the five games that he played he was able to get nine assists, which is one of many reasons why Stanley is seeing his second Player of the Month honor. 



Rocco Stolz, Metro Jets

Stolz (’04/Lake Orion, Mich.) is also earning his second Player of the Month honor this month. In the past month, Stolz has played 180 minutes, saving 55 saves on 55 shots. Not only did he go 3-0 in net for the Jets in December but all of those games were also a shutout. The goaltender for Metro has had an amazing season so far with seven wins, no losses and just three total goals against!
