Azevedo (‘03/Switzerland) scored a goal and six assists over the weekend against the Nashville Spartans to help them stay undefeated at 9-0-0-0. Azevedo leads the entire USPHL Premier in scoring with 5-16-21 totals in nine games.
Defense: Cam Perez, Charlotte Rush
Perez (‘02/West Hartford, Conn.) helped the Rush put together a winning weekend against Nashville, posting a goal and three assists, putting up a +3 rating and leading the team with 11 shots on goal.
Goaltender: Owen Swanbon, Hampton Roads Whalers
Swanbon (‘02/Maynard, Mass.) posted his second straight win in a trip up to New Jersey, making 19 saves in a sweep weekend against the Hitmen, which gave the Whalers five straight wins.

Both teams faced Hurricane Ian head on as it made landfall on Sept. 28 as a Category 4 hurricane just north of Fort Myers (home of the Florida Eels) and about 25 miles north of Estero, Fla. (home of the Florida Jr. Blades).
