Every October, as the trees in the Northeastern U.S. are putting on an art show, the Jersey Hitmen Classic puts on a show to rival anything on the nearby Broadway in New York City. Teams from the NCDC, USPHL Premier and USPHL Elite will come together for this highlight event every year on the USPHL calendar, this year running Oct. 17-21 at the Ice Vault, a three-sheet arena featuring full-service restaurant, lounge and pro shop all on site.
The Jersey Hitmen Classic this year serves as the second of three NCDC Showcase Series events, and the first on the East Coast. The Hitmen Classic will feature all 15 NCDC New England and Atlantic Division teams in action, providing NCAA scouts from across the country a chance to recruit some of the nation’s best Tier II players. The NCDC's 165+ NCAA commitments is a number sure to see an increase as the NCDC will field 21 teams this season.
In addition to the NCDC talent on the ice, scouts will be able to see USPHL Premier players hitting the ice from the Atlantic Division (six teams), the Canada Division (all six teams), the New England Division and Southeast Division (two teams apiece) and the North Division (one team). This will provide scouts with a chance to see a wide array of players from across a sizeable portion of the USPHL Premier footprint.

The Ice Vault in Wayne, N.J., is conveniently located just 30 miles from the heart of New York City, and it is easily accessible by all major New York metropolitan area airports. Newark International Airport is just 30 minutes away, while JFK International and Laguardia International airports are both over one hour’s drive away. The Wayne Transit Center offers bus and rail transportation to and from New York City.
