We have arrived at Day 1 of the #USPHLPlayoffs! Two #USPHLPremier games today start us on the Pathway To The #USPHLNationals March 20-24 in Wayne, New Jersey.
Wednesday’s games:
Canada Division
(4) College Universel Gatineau 2, (5) Somang Hockey 1 – OT
Derek Petitpas scored both goals for Gatineau, including the OT GWG. Mathias St-Laurent assisted on both goals, and Marcus Gomes stopped 18 of 19 shots.
New England Division
(5) Utica Jr. Comets 3, (4) South Shore Kings 1
Cameron Gardiner scored the game-winning goal in the second period, and Jacob Korte stopped 41 of 42 shots, giving up only a late shorthanded goal by the Kings’ Payton Kender.
