Forward: Roman Wolynec, Seattle Totems
Wolynec (‘05/Langley, B.C.) has closed off an absolutely historic season that saw him set new USPHL Premier records for most points in a season (163), most assists in a season (124) and most points in a career (278) as well as most assists in a career (200). He closed out his regular season with three goals and six assists for nine points in three games against the Bellingham Blazers. He helped the Totems to an amazing 40-4-0-0 campaign.
Defense: Filip Lezzani, Vernal Oilers
The Oilers closed off their regular season absolutely undefeated at 44-0, and the veteran Lezzani (‘04/Prestov, Slovakia) was a big help towards that with 27 points in the final 10 games of the season. Lezzani brings valuable Tier II experience to the Oilers, having played in the NCDC. In his final game, he registered a 1-3-4 line and finished with 109 points in 94 career Premier games.
Goaltender: Emmett Dixon, Bellingham Blazers
Dixon (‘04/Coquitlam, B.C.) stopped 53 of 54 shots in the Blazers’ big 2-1 victory against the Seattle Totems on Feb. 22, the Blazers’ first win against their Evergreen State rivals since December 2023. Dixon closed his season at 11-8-1-0 with a .916 save percentage.
Pacific Division
Forward:
Forward: Simon Eriksson, Fresno Monsters
Eriksson (‘05/Sundsvall, Sweden) scored three goals and added 10 assists for 13 points in just three games as Fresno nears the end of their season. The second-year Monster has 94 points in 44 games and 106 points in his two-year career.
Defense: Jesse Nuutinen, Fresno Monsters
Nuutinen (‘06/Finland) scored two goals and added five more assists for a seven-point showing in the Monsters’ three-game set against Bakersfield. He stands with 53 points in 46 games this season, his first in North America.
Goaltender: Ethan Sellwood, Ventura Vikings
Sellwood (‘05/Laguna Beach, Calif.) stopped 37 of 38 shots to help the Vikings earn a 2-1 win against the Long Beach Bombers, another California team close to finishing its first USPHL Premier season. Sellwood improved to 7-2-0-0 this season, which he began with the Ontario Jr. Reign.
Selection Process: Divisional statistical leaders are presented to coaches, who are able to vote on the leaders, or nominate and vote on alternate candidates.
