Jan. 22, 2025

Games of Jan. 14-20, 2025

Southeast Division

Forward: Wyatt Teubert, Hampton Roads Whalers

An All-Star selection, Teubert (‘04/White Rock, B.C.) had a monstrous series against the Carolina Jr. Hurricanes, putting up a 3-3-6 line on Sunday, Jan. 19, and he also registered an assist on Jan. 18. He has improved to 69 points this season, long since establishing this fourth Whalers season of his as a career-best year. He is third in Whalers all-time scoring at 144 career points.

Defense: Jacob McCormack, Hampton Roads Whalers

McCormack (‘06/Vail, Colo.) put up a 1-2-3 line during the Whalers’ recent series against Carolina, improving his points total to 12 points. He registered four points in 12 games, and he was also a regular with the Elite squad – a great example of USPHL Advancement In Action.

Goaltender: Evan Crawford, Charlotte Rush

Crawford (‘04/Greenwich, Conn.) had his second straight shutout and fourth of the season overall, as he prepares to make his USPHL Premier All-Star debut in Foxboro, Mass., debut next week. Crawford stopped all 28 shots against the Potomac Patriots, one week after stopping all 28 shots against Hampton Roads. He improved to 11-2-1-1 with a .950 save percentage on the season. He goes into this weekend on a four-game winning streak.

Florida Division

Forward: Keishawn-Henry Delaleu-Thompson, Atlanta MadHatters

Delaleu-Thompson (‘06/Montreal, Que.) enjoyed a huge series against the Bold City Battalion, putting up five assists in the first game and a 1-1-2 line in the second game for a seven-point outburst, helping him to 20 points in 18 games this season. He brings Tier II experience to the MadHatters, having played in the CCHL last season.

Defense: Aki Jokela, Tampa Bay Juniors

Jokela (‘04/Pori, Finland) registered a hat trick as the Juniors rolled to a 4-0 victory against the Florida Eels on Jan. 19. He has eight goals and 18 points in 19 games with the TBJ, and he’s also played in one NCDC game and six NAHL games this season.

Goaltender: Savva Serdiuk, Tampa Bay Juniors

Fourth-year USPHL veteran Serdiuk (‘04/Kiev, Ukraine) made 39 saves to earn his first shutout of this season and seventh of his career against the Florida Eels. He improved to 10-3-0-0 on this season and he has 42 wins in his career, which ranks fourth all-time in the USPHL Premier.

Selection Process: Divisional statistical leaders are presented to coaches, who are able to vote on the leaders, or nominate and vote on alternate candidates.
