New England Division

Forward: Justin Scarbrough, Northern Cyclones

Scarbrough (‘04/Redondo Beach, Calif.) was immense in putting a 3-4-7 line up on Nov. 2, bringing his points per game up to an even 1.00 points per game average. 

 

Defense: Nick Zanin, Springfield Pics

Also recently named a Defenseman of the Month in the division, Zanin (‘04/West Stockbridge, Mass.) put up three goals and an assist in two games against Connecticut and Utah, crossing the 100-game Premier threshold and also setting a new three-year career high in points with 24. 

 

Goaltender Thomas Cafarelli, Islanders Hockey Club

Cafarelli (‘06/Portland, Ore.) registered a 27-save shutout in his first game after coming up from the Islanders 18U AAA team on Nov. 1 against the Rangers. 

 

Atlantic Division

Forward: Liam Coutu, Elmira Impact

Coutu (‘06/Granby, Que.) followed up an outstanding start to the season that saw Forward of the Month honors. He scored 11 points, tied for the most in the Premier during the Oct. 29-Nov. 4 nomination period, off of four goals and seven assists for 11 points. He had his first four-goal game on Nov. 2 and now has 32 points in 13 games this season. 

 

Defense: Patrick Haines, Red Bank Generals

Haines (‘05/Belford, N.J.) repeats in this spot after posting four assists over two games, with all four assists coming in a Nov. 1 win against the Brooklyn Aviators. He has since improved his points per game to 1.00 on the season with 14 points in 14 games. 

 

Goaltender: Noah Pfab, Hershey Cubs 

Pfab (‘07/Nurnberg, Germany) was huge for the Cubs, picking up a pair of wins against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and West Chester. In the process, he stopped 84 of 87 shots, including a 45-save and a 39-save performance. He improved his season save percentage to .946. 

 

Canada Division

Forward: Donovan Odige, Somang L-L Hockey 

Odige (‘07/Riviere des Prairie, Que.) scored a pair of goals and added four assists – with a pair of 1-2-3 games – against Hawkesbury and Kingston. He now has 13 points in 18 games. 

 

Defense: Samuel Cardinal, Universel Sherbrooke 

Cardinal (‘06/Otterburn Park, Que.) put up a 1-3-4 line against College Universel Gatineau and the Kingston Wranglers. A second-year Premier veteran, he improved to 13 points in 16 games. 

 

Goaltender: Nathan Rutter-Richardson, Montreal Black Vees 

Rutter-Richardson (‘06/Rockland, Ont.) registered 34 saves on 35 shots in a victory against the Hawkesbury Knights to help the Black Vees take over the top spot in the Canada Division. They have since extended their winning streak to 10 in a row and Rutter-Richardson is on a 7-0 run. 

 

Selection Process: Divisional statistical leaders are presented to coaches, who are able to vote on the leaders, or nominate and vote on alternate candidates.
