Canada Division
Forward: Mickael Morrissette, Montreal Black Vees
Morisette (‘07/St-Eustache, Que.), who joined the Black Vees in November, posted his first hat trick on Valentine’s Day, giving him 10 points in 22 games this season.
Defense: Zachary Demyk, Universel College Gatineau
Demyk (‘05/Montreal, Que.) scored a goal and an assist as Gatineau enjoyed an important victory for playoff positioning against the Somang L-L Hockey team. He had 10 points in 41 games.
Goaltender: Nathan Rutter-Richardson, Montreal Black Vees
Rutter-Richardson (‘06/Rockland, Ont.) stopped 24 of 25 shots he faced for a .960 save percentage as the Black Vees defeated Kingston. This marked his seventh straight win and he is now 16-4-1-1 this season.
New England Division
Forward: Andrew White, Northern Cyclones
White (‘04/East Hartford, Ct.) scored five goals and five assists for 10 points in three games as the Cyclones went 3-0 over the last week as part of a larger 4-0 run. He scored a 3-4-7 line against the Thunder Hockey Club on Feb. 12 and now has 41 points in 40 games.
Defense: Payton Kender, South Shore Kings
Kender (‘04/Brewster, Mass.) registered two goals and added one assist in the Kings’ sole game played during the week between Feb. 11-17. In his second Premier season, Kender now has a career-best 33 points in 42 games and he’s also played in two NCDC games, registering two assists there.
Goaltender: Matthew Dore, South Shore Kings
Dore (‘04/Dartmouth, Mass.) is also a second-year King who was a teammate of Payton Kender’s with the Kings’ 18U team as well. Recently, he stopped all 21 shots against the Thunder Hockey Club for his third shutout this year.
Atlantic Division
Forward: Michael Bottrell, Elmira Impact
Bottrell (‘04/Everett, Ont.) scored five goals – including his 30th of the season – and he added three more assists in an eight-point performance over just two games for Elmira, whose three-game winning streak has them holding on to the top of the Atlantic Division. Bottrell now has 67 points in 42 games.
Defense: Thomas Garon, Elmira Impact
Garon (‘05/Beauceville, Que.) had four assists over a pair of games against the Jersey Hitmen, giving him a two-year career high of 15 points on the season.
Goaltender: Harris Lockwood Jagoe, Rockets Hockey Club
Lockwood Jagoe (‘07/Lancashire, U.K.) stopped all of the 32 shots that he faced against the Brooklyn Aviators. This was his second shutout of the season and his 10th win for a 10-6-1-1 record overall.
Selection Process: Divisional statistical leaders are presented to coaches, who are able to vote on the leaders, or nominate and vote on alternate candidates.
