Matteo Pero, Ontario Jr. Reign
Pero returned to the Reign after previously playing with the team in 2022-23. He also picked up right where he left off in terms of scoring, with a 7-12-19 line for 3.80 points per game in five games. Pero improved his career totals to 94 points in 51 games.
Knut Hornkvist, San Diego Sabers
Hornkvist (‘04/Ornskoldsvik, Sweden) scored nine goals and 19 assists for 28 points in just 11 games over the course of February. He was able to crest the 100-point mark for the season in 43 games and for his career, he finished with 40 goals and 106 assists for 146 points in 85 games.
Simon Eriksson, Fresno Monsters
Eriksson (‘05/Sundsvall, Sweden) scored five goals and added 17 assists for 22 points over nine games of February. He finished with 40 goals for the season along with 56 assists for 96 points in 44 games. For his career, he has 106 points in 56 total regular season games.

Defense
Morry Sheynin, Ontario Jr Reign
Sheynin (‘05/San Carlos, Calif.) scored five goals and 10 assists for 15 points, part of the great success he’s had with 18 points in 16 games since being acquired in January from the Palm Beach Typhoon. He closed the regular season with 27 points in 18 games.
Jesse Nuutinen, Fresno Monsters
Nuutinen (‘06/Finland) scored twice and added 12 assists for 14 points in 10 games. He has finished his first North American season with 53 points in 46 games.

Goaltender
Nicholas Perry, Henderson Force
Perry (‘05/Chino Hills, Calif.) made 176 saves on 189 shots during the month of February, including a 56-save shutout against the Iron County Yeti to begin the month. He finished with a .931 saves percentage on the season and a 2-2-0-0 record. For the season, Perry was 15-10-0-0 with a .920 save percentage.

Selection Process: The division’s coaches are presented with a ballot form with statistical leaders (ranked by points per game average for skaters and save percentage for goaltenders) and vote on that form. The league takes the results of that vote and presents the coaches with the finalists, who are able to vote on further changes if desired.
