Jacob Carey, Springfield Pics
Carey (‘05/Christchurch, New Zealand) scored five goals and added eight assists for 13 points during the month of February, giving him an average of 2.60 points per game. He scored 25 goals and 59 points in 37 games this season, and he has 90 points in 63 regular season career games.
Benjamin Adcock, Springfield Pics
The third-year Pic put up a 4-4-8 line on Feb. 18 in his second to last career regular season game, helping him too a line of 6-10-16 on the month of February. Adcock (‘04/Montclair, Va.) closed up his third Premier season with the Pics with 67 points in 43 games, more points than in his first two seasons combined. He closed 2024-25 with 121 points in 113 career regular season games.
Simon Matease, Junior Bruins
Matease’s last regular season game saw him post a hat trick, pushing his goals total for the season to 30, and his points total to 53 in 39 games. He scored 11 goals and added six assists for 17 points in 10 February games.

Defense:
Nick Zanin, Springfield Pics
Zanin (‘04/West Stockbridge, Mass.) scored four goals and added eight assists for 12 points in seven games in February. Like his teammate Adcock, his season points total for this year was more than the combined total of his prior seasons, as he put up 59 points in 42 games. He finished his career with 90 regular season points in 128 games.
Trevor Belak, Northern Cyclones
Another three-year Premier veteran defenseman and a 2023 National Champion, Belak (‘04/Pittsburgh, Pa.) was on fire in February, scoring six goals and adding nine assists for 15 points in 12 games. His 47 points in 44 games were more than his previous two seasons combined as well, continuing that trend here. He finished the regular season portion of his career with 85 points in 108 games.

Goaltender:
Matthew Dore, South Shore Kings
Dore (‘04/Dartmouth, Mass.) went 6-2-0-0 during a very busy February en route to the Premier playoffs. He stopped 266 of the 280 shots that he faced during the month. He also shut out the Thunder Hockey Club with 21 saves for his third shutout of the season. He closed his regular season career with a 27-14-2-1 record in 45 games.
Goaltender Honorable Mention: Thomas Cafarelli, Islanders Hockey Club
Selection Process: The division’s coaches are presented with a ballot form with statistical leaders (ranked by points per game average for skaters and save percentage for goaltenders) and vote on that form. The league takes the results of that vote and presents the coaches with the finalists, who are able to vote on further changes if desired.
