Sept. 27-29, 2024
New England Sports Center, Marlborough, Mass.
The Boston Junior Bruins Shootout returns to the New England Sports Center in Marlborough, Mass., Sept. 27-29. The Shootout has been a staple of the USPHL calendar since the league’s inception and will provide NCAA scouts with early looks at the great talent the USPHL Premier and USPHL Elite bring to the ice every season.
Last year, there were more than 380 college commitments from the Premier and Elite conferences, and the Junior Bruins Shootout often serves as an early introduction for scouts to players from across the Northeastern U.S. and Canada. There are more than 60 NCAA schools and several additional ACHA and AAU club teams all within a short distance of the centrally-located New England Sports Center.
This year, there will be 14 USPHL Premier teams playing four games apiece, including the first appearance at a USPHL showcase of the six teams from the new Canada Division in the Premier. Seven Premier New England Division teams and one Atlantic Division team will also take part in the Junior Bruins Shootout. There will be nine teams competing in the USPHL Elite Conference action.
